Forum on Fluid Measurements and Instrumentation

Direction

The Forum on Fluid Measurements and Instrumentation provides a venue for researchers and practitioners to present new developments and to discuss the state-of-the-art of fluid measurement and instrumentation. Current information on state-of-the-art flow measurement techniques devoted to any area of fluid measurements is encouraged. Subjects include laser velocimetry, particle imaging velocimetry, hot-wire/hot-film anemometry, pressure probes and instrumentation, metering of gas, liquid, and multiphase flows, flow visualization, ultrasonics, and any other topic for flow regimes ranging from low speed liquids to hypersonic gas flow. Additional emphasis includes multiphase flow characterization and techniques to measure slurry properties such as phase, density, and viscosity.
